Financial Assistance

Sometimes financial emergencies happen in our lives.  We have trained conference members that can come to your home to see how we can assist you with your problem.  You may need help with an electric bill, rent payment, car repair, heating bill, or food needs.  We at Saint Vincent de Paul are here to help in that emergency and try to find a long term sustainable solution.  These home visits are to collect information to help evaluate the circumstances on each individual case and apply help accordingly. Conference members operate with confidentiality.

Clothing and Household Items

In times of disaster or other need, we can provide clothing and other household items from our store in the form of a payment voucher. Contact our Conference members to establish your need and apply for a voucher.

Mobile Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is open the 2nd Thursday of each month and the hours are 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, or until the food runs out. The times may vary depending on deliveries to our location.  Our food pantry is open for those who are in need from Pepin County and the Durand-Arkansaw and Pepin school district areas.  Food pick up is at the Saint Mary’s Church drive thru, which is located in the rear parking lot.  Food is delivered directly to your vehicle in boxes. Recipients of food will be asked for the location of their residence (zip code), number of residents in the household, and ages of the residents.  Food availability varies; there will be usually two meats, vegetables and fruits when they are in season, breads, canned foods, some type of cheese, and noodles.

The Saint Vincent Mobile Food Pantry is located at St. Mary’s Assumption Church.
