Here you will find out about the life of a donated item in our store.

A donated item arrives at our donation door.

Our intake staff will help unload your vehicle and take items inside to the sorting area.

Clothing, bed-sheets, ball-caps, stuffed animals, leather coats and purses, and shoes that are unfit for resale are stored for recycling. Cloth items are placed into our bailer.

Full bales are stored for future shipment and sale to a recycling company.

At the recycling company clothing is sorted and either repurposed or shredded for use in products such as insulation.

If the items are saleable, they are sorted and dispersed to different areas.
The clothing is checked over and priced.

Dishes and ceramics are cleaned.

Electrical items and toys are tested.

Items are checked over and priced for sale.

Items are placed on the sales floor to be sold to customers.

Customers pay for their items at the register.

Funds are directed to the Conference services, after store operating expenses are deducted. We appreciate your support of those of the community in need!
